Australia’s Top Ten Property Specialists: Greville Pabst

Greville Pabst is one of Australia’s leading property commentators and a passionate advocate for the role property plays in creating personal wealth.

Spanning three decades, Greville’s career is characterised by entrepreneurial drive and innovative vision. Throughout his extensive career Greville has witnessed the often costly mistakes people make when buying and selling property, and he passionately believes in seeking professional advice when it comes to property. This passion fuelled the co-creation of PropertyDuo, the strategic advice arm of WBP Group committed to providing independent property advisory solutions. This advice supports Australians, from the first home buyer to the avid investor, to make smart, evidence- based property decisions that help them achieve their financial and lifestyle goals.

In addition to practising as a buyer’s agent and property advisor, Greville is Executive Chairman of WBP Group. He maintains certified practising valuer status and holds fellowships with the Australian Property Institute and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. He is a fully licensed Real Estate Agent, former Chairman of the Australian Property Institute Membership Admissions Committee, former Vice President of the MFAA Victorian Council and fellow member of the MFAA. Greville is recognised by the Australian Property Institute as a Specialist Determining Valuer for Dispute Resolution in Rental Disputes and is a member of the Property Council of Australia.

Nominee’s three achievements

I’m very proud to have grown and maintained a business with the same business partner over 25 years, that is now Australia’s fourth largest independent buyer’s agent, property advisory and valuation firms. From a start up with four people we are today 210 people nationwide. Being a part of Australia’s largest property show The Block has given me the opportunity to help people make more educated property decisions, which today is the largest part of my role within our business. Last year I was also a finalist in the Executive of The Year Awards for Chairperson of the year alongside Gina Rinehart.
