Page One Person: International Property Maven, Lee Ziv

An understanding of the value and impact of media has always been a desirable trait in any commercial field, but never more so than in today’s luxury real estate business: with clients that are media savvy, connected to the digital world, ‘twenty-four seven’ should they desire, and open to influence and influencer: they have the tools and financial resources at their disposal to make almost anything happen and in double quick time.

Understanding the crucial role of media and profile is what has enabled Ms Lee Ziv to establish an enviable network of both clients and global contacts in the luxury real estate world.  The UK and USA launches of her latest project, the uber chic Port Tel Aviv development designed by architect Ilan Pivko, were both great examples of how Lee brings her personal flair and contacts into play: working with Gary Hersham, founder of Beauchamp Estates and gallery owner Alon Zakaim in London and Mauricio Umansky, founder of The Agency and husband of actress Kyle Richards, in LA.

Lee started her career as an account executive for leading advertising agencies in Israel, picking up a solid grounding in media, before becoming a sales manager at Poster Media. With extensive knowledge of the advertising industry, and great media skillset, Lee quickly progressed to international accounts, before moving into broadcast, working with Telad Ltd, one of Israel’s leading television producers, who were responsible for the launch of channels E, MGM, and History in the Israel market place.

Lee’s strong interest in aesthetics led to the focusing of her sales and advertising expertise on the luxury real estate market and in 2011 become VP of Sales for the ground breaking ‘Meier on Rothschild’ project in Tel Aviv, with Architect Richard Meier and Developer Berggruen Holdings. The highly successful development sold 141 apartments in a single tower, generating a profit of over £104 million and setting a new benchmark for price per square foot, a game-changer in Israel’s real estate market.

Having successfully completed Meier on Rothschild, Lee was appointed to manage the private Eden Island in the Seychelles: with a global marketing budget of over (US)$1 million, Lee’s creative and impactful marketing strategy for the man-made luxury island development, only 300 meters form Mahé, helped secure international recognition for the development.

Having established a wealth of experience and international contacts Lee was a natural choice to lead as VP of Sale sand Marketing for Port Tel Aviv, set to become Israel’s finest development. Lee’s top advice for marketing is to focus on listening to clients, transparency and honesty in sales and the importance of becoming an expert in your field, to create compelling and relevant content for your audience.
